We Need Your Help
September 11, 2004 drew 1000-plus bikers to the Mahopac Fire Department in remembrance of the families who lost loved ones on September 11, 2001. Our ride to Ground Zero was a huge success, and we collected an overwhelming amount of donations! The money will be donated to the eight Putnam County families who suffered a tragic loss on 9-11. We will present checks, $2000 each, to the family members who are available to participate in the Columbus Day Parade in Mahopac on October 3, 2004. The family members who will not be at the parade will be contacted individually, so we can present a check to them in person. Next year we plan to ride again on September 11, 2005 with the goal of donating money to the Putnam County High Schools for scholarships, to the Mahopac Fire Department and to the Police Departments. We will be pleased to accept donations by clicking on “donate” below.
